About Me

Infrastructure and Transit.

Rapid population growth in the Skyview Riding has increased the need for infrastructure and transportation. Skyview needs better infrastructure and reliable public transit options. This will reduce the congestion and increase the proportion of residents who use active forms of transportation to access jobs, health care, education and social activities.

Dr Raman Gill will advocate for improved road conditions, enhanced public transit services and new infrastructure projects to reduce traffic chaos and make community easier for everyone.

Healthcare Accessibility

Access to healthcare services is a growing concern in Skyview riding with long ait times and limited local options.

Dr Raman Gill will push for improved healthcare accessibility and expansion of local clinics to ensure residents can receive timely care.

Community Safety

Dr Raman Gill is committed to working with law enforcement and community groups to enhance safety measures and ensure that Skyview remains a secure place for families to live and thrive.

Youth and Senior Services

Skyview’s Riding’s youth and seniors need more support services and community programs.
Dr Raman Gill will champion initiatives to expand after school programs for youth, create more recreational facilities, and provide better healthcare and support services for seniors.

Job Opportunities and Economic Growth

Many residents in Skyview Riding are looking for more local jobs opportunities and economic development. Dr Raman Gill will advocate for policies that attract new business owners and create a robust local economy with more job prospects.

Affordable Housing

Skyview Riding faces challenges with affordable housing, making it difficult for families and newcomers to find suitable living. The number of residents in Skyview Riding has also increased many fold. At the same time, there has been rapid deterioration in housing inventories and affordability. In Canada fewer homes were built last year than in 1972 when population was half the size. House prices have risen as red tape is slowing down financing for builders trying to construct affordable housing. There are delays, fees, regulations and taxes resulting in increase in the prices. Radical action is required to prevent housing from becoming even more unaffordable. Let’s get affordable housing and increase housing inventories for Canadians.

Dr Raman Gill will work towards policies that promote affordable housing development and support first time homebuyers.
